Ivanka Trump and husband Jared Kushner moved to Washington, D.C. from their longtime residence in New York City due to both of their high-level advisory positions appointed by father and President of the United States, Donald Trump.

It didn’t take a lot of time to get comfortable in their 7,000-square-foot home designed by Waddy Wood.  The modern mirrored coffee table in the middle of the room is another piece of the perfect puzzle. A framed mirror hangs from above, and a black marble fireplace is kind of the centerpiece of the room. A video posted on Instagram shows Theodore who is 14 month, taking his first steps inside the home.

We can get a glimpse of the contemporary interior decor of their home, from the black marble fireplace to the black and white sailboat pattern wallcovering in the nursery. We can see that a crushed light gray rug covers the dark hardwood floor. The white sofas are placed across from each other and one of them has a round metal table on one side and a white marble one in the shape of a triangle on the other. The fireplace (below) is surrounded by a simulated white and black chevron marble pattern. The focus of this room is definitely the abstract light fixture and instead of two white couches, there is a pair of beautiful black armchairs.

The family has a nice eating nook, it has a white round table and a black bench. Of course, there is a high chair for Theodore, and the glass-paned doors let in a lot of natural light.

The author of “Women Who Work” displays a lot of pictures of her family adapting to their new environment. This means we get a look at the décor used by the Trump clan. We might get inspired and do a few changes to our own home.
