Acoustical wall covering is used for its sound-absorbing and softening properties found in concert halls, opera houses, home theaters and movie theaters. Acoustical Wallcovering can be a fabric or a mixed recycled material available in rolls or panels.
Pictured above is Katherine Elfers Music Hall at Hotchkiss Private High School located in Salisbury Connecticut. This concert hall uses acoustical panels hung from the ceiling (See top of photo) and uses acoustical fabric wallcovering on the practice room walls.
